Herdade da Matinha is located in a valley on the Alentejo Coast in the heart of Cercal mountains, close to the sea. In a space of transformation and experiential tourism that has long become a reference in Portugal. The Estate grew and spread over 110 hectares where more than 14 thousand pine trees were planted, ready to serve new stories, to give life and color to the landscape.<\/p>\n
From the beginning, there was a concern to restore the ecological balance of the estate and to respect the local heritage. The old „Casas do Lavrador“ (Farmers Houses), the „Vacaria“ (cowshed) and the „Celeiro“ (barn) were recovered to create the main house and the rooms with a unique and personalized decoration, where silence is a rare luxury that must be listened to, with time and leisure.<\/p>\n
Matinha has 35 rooms spread over 4 houses that invite you to different experiences. And there is no shortage of experiences at Herdade da Matinha, with green fields where many of them take place, such as horse riding, picnics or even a yoga class. The different birds that can be seen in this location are unique for birdwatching and their chirping will be the music that accompanies you on this adventure.<\/p>\n
